A good start!
A good start to our blog. The best bet of the day at Leicester, He's A Humbug won at 11/4 and our each-way selection Pat Will (25/1) finished an excellent second. Anyway enough of the bragging (although it is nice to start something like this with a win) on to Friday's racing.
Danny reckons he has found a decent bet in the first at Aintree in Aces Four. He ran a blinder at Cheltenham when fourth to Denman. He almost came down on a couple of occasions but recovered well and had some decent types behind. His jumping is a slight concern but a clear round should see him go close.
Nothing for me at Aintree and so to Folkestone. A tricky card and so just the one recommended bet in Rio Taffeta. Mick Channon's charge ran at Kempton last Saturday and did well to finish so close to the winner Fat Boy as he was slowly away and also ran wide at the bend. The opposition looks pretty weak and with improvement expected he looks the one to be on.
So Friday's selections once again.
Aces Four 2.00 Aintree
Rio Taffeta 2.10 Folkestone
