Back in profit with a nice 16/1 winner...

It's nice to be back in the black and we will try and stay there with another couple of fancies this afternoon. We are heading to Newcastle and Danny's selection is in the handicap at 4.20. It is a tough race but he gives Middlemarch an excellent each-way chance. Jim Goldie has his runners in good form and having won off 71 last year this one isn't badly treated and does have his perfect ground. No big priced selection for me today, but I think Secret Tune is a good thing in the 3.50. Pat Eddery had a winner yesterday and this one finished runner up in what looked a much better race at Windsor on his debut. A horse rated 79 was behind that day, along with representatives from some top yards, he will find this race much easier.

  • The Eddery horse was a ridiculous price today. Hope you filled your boots Noel!
