A terrible Saturday....
The best bet of the day was well beaten, the worst thing was that it fell into the Millard two-year-old system (showing promise first time out and starting less than 2/1) . I will never hear the end of it. To top that I have been following Prize Fighter, knowing it was going to win a race, but didn't have the courage to put it on the blog, it wins at 14/1. However I have had worse disappointments and so time to forget it and move on to Sunday. Danny likes a couple at Folkestone first of all Yandina in the 3.50. The form of her recent second to Bakhoor is working out well and she looks open to improvement. Danny's second choice is a Luca Cumani newcomer in the 4.20, Speed Gift. This son of Montjeu will not have to be too special to win this prize. I also like a Cumani runner, Peppermint Green in the 2.30 at Salisbury. This one contested a listed race on her second start at two, is superbly bred and should make a better three-year-old.

Hello Noel and Danny,
I'm finding this month a toughy so far to pick the winners, i'm still in the red at the moment but i'll hopefully have a change of luck soon.

Nice couple of winners today. Especially Danny's Speed Gifted turning over the 100/30 on Dawn Sky from about 1/4 of a furlong behind at the home turn.
