Late as usual on a Sunday....

The last day of this record month and we are hoping for more success. Danny likes the look of Rampallion in the 3.10 race at Ascot. The Godolphin runner did well enough on his return, despite the ground being too fast. The conditions today are ideal and he should go close. Dan also likes Balthazaars Gift in the 4.20. His run in the Sprint Cup is easily the best form on show and he does have a course and distance success on easy ground. I also like a Cumani runner, River Tiber in the 4.55. He didn't stay at York last time and is better judged on his previous run when fourth in a hot race at Goodwood. My second selection is Lizard Island in the 4.30 at The Curragh. Fallon's mount was an excellent fourth in the best juvenile race of the season and a reproduction of that effort should be good enough today.
