A good price at 9/4 as well. Let's hope it is a return to form. On Monday our first choice is Brigadore in the 3.15 at Carlisle. James Given's charge has dropped to a very lenient mark and showed signs of a form revival last time out. In the 8.30 at Winsdor Hunting Country is of interst. He chased home a decent type last time out and is open to improvement.

as i won't be about tomorrow here's the fox's selections for the first four at ascot.

tariq must be there or there abouts 11/2 e/w seems fair to me.
equiano e/w looks to be improving and could be great value at the 16/1 on offer.
i can't find one to beat henry on form and will just watch at the price.
lord shanakill.... beat some useful types and again looks a value e/w bet to me at around 14/1.
