Phew!! It was Kew, but only just!

Another nice priced winner on Tuesday but it was nail-biting stuff. On to the start of the Craven meeting. Danny has three strong fancies at Newmarket the first is Putra Square in the 2.00. Paul Cole's charge has solid form from last season and should improve on his recent return, Danny reckons it is a sure fire each-way choice. Next for Dan we have Prime Defender in the 3.10. Barry Hills is knocking in winners left, right and centre and this one has a fitness edge on main rival Hamoody. Last but not least for Daniel, we have Cheap Street in the 5.30. It progressed nicely last season and could still be on fair mark.
Now to try and follow up my recent good fortune I do like the look of Astroangel in the 5.05 at Beverley. The Mark Tompkins trained three-year-old ran well on plenty of occasions last season and should improve for a recent outing in quite a competitive maiden at Folkestone. It should be a massive price so each-way betting is advised. Nothing for me at Newmarket it is too difficult. Good luck with whatever you back.

  • Unlucky for Dan on Putra Sq, beaten a neck at 11/1 by Arabian Gulf(7/1).

Prime Defender won at 5/2, backed down from about 4's if I recall.

  • Yeah Danny's gonna strike gold soon. My each-way beaten by an all-weather specialist. Thanx for your comments.

  • Some decent price horses going in at the moment nice going. Putra Square 11-1 and Astroangel 16-1. I had already put my bets on for the day and missed these two eacyway shots...oh bugger...lol

  • Yip, I was on Pieterson, and had forgotten about Astroangel until a scary moment where I thought it was going to come and nick the race.

Millard seemed happy enough to beat you guys in the race, he chose Pieterson too.
