Another decent week-end, but we need to do better mid-week.
Danny coninues to carry me at the moment and he has a couple of selections for Monday. His first is in the 5.00 at Musselburgh, Inspainagain. David Barron's runner didn't do too badly on his handicap debut and looks to have little to beat this afternoon. Danny's second choice goes in the 7.40 at Windsor, Star Strider. Andrew Balding's charge was slowly away here last time over the five furlong trip but stayed on well to be a close up third. The extra distance should suit and he has the assistance of the superb William Buick. I have a couple of good priced fancies at Musselburgh, the first is Smiddy Hill in 2.00. Robin Bastiman's mare won over course and distance last summer off a mark of 67 and looked on the way back to form last time out. My second selection is in the 3.30, Fiefdom. The former Mark Johnston inmate is now down to a very lenient mark and went very close last time out.

Don't despair Noel, your doing better than me. Danny is carrying us both!
I find the hardest thing is the discipline involved, to restrict oneself to one or two bets when one is convinced there are other opportunities (which of course there is not)requires a steady hand.
Keep up the good work both here and with your mates at Sportslive.
Regards - Dave
