Authorized did the business in the Derby, winning despite being a bit fracious before the start. We reckon there could still be plenty more to come from this one and it will take a good horse to beat him. I am doing Sunday's selections early because we are heading to Gargrave (whereveer that is ) in the moring as Danny is playing cricket for Leeds. We are hoping he gets a good score and we are hoping our three Brighton runners all win. They are Evensstorm in the 2.20 race. Brian Gubby paid a lot for this American bred who ran a race full of promise on her debut. Lion Ridge in the 3.50 is Danny's selection. This well bred son of Monjeu is froma stable that has a great strike rate at this course. Finally we have Something Simple in the 4.20. Richard Ford's yard is flying and this one has got ground and trip in his favour and is now down to a decent mark.
