His second choice is Massasoit in the 12.40 at Wincanton. Paul Nicholls does well with this type and it doesn't look too strong a contest. I have also gone for a Nicholls horse, Phoenix Jack in the 1.10 race. This one has shown plenty of ability and could have got in here lightly. My second choice is in the 3.40 at Doncaster Backbord. Lucy Wadham's charge hasn't raced on the flat for a while but has been running well over hurdles and could be well treated here.
