Modest racing on Tuesday...
But we may have found some decent bets. My first selection is a bit of a hopeful choice in the 1.40 at Catterick. Mark Johnston won the race twelve months ago with a 25/1 chance and he runs two in the contest again. Traitors Gate is the interesting one, strongly fancied on his debut he ran very green and then went off too fast next time, with more restraint he could go well in this weak affair. My second choice is Waterline Twenty in the 4.00 at Lingfield. This one beat a previous winner and a very well handicapped horse recently and can follow up today. Danny also has a couple, the first being Gunsmith in the 1.50 at Exeter. Jonjo's charge was very novicey on his hurdles debut but will have learnt from the experienece and should improve. His second runner is Kaldouas in the 3.50 race. This one wasn't beaten far on his return and as with many Nicholls horses he should improve for his first run of the campaign.
