New blog layout.

Do not be alarmed! This is the new and (hopefully) improved blog layout that will be rolled out and perfected over the next few weeks. If you notice any problems with any particular browsers while viewing, please leave comments to this post and we'll sort it out ASAP. Also, feel free to tell us what you think (removing expletives as necessary) and we might just change it.

  • I know wot you mean. But it is a work in progress and Toby did want some comments. He does have a trainee graphic designer sorting something out. So we may see a change next week.

  • I think it's better that the pictures of the writers and the betting results are at the top of the sidebar.

    If someone wants to search the site, they'll find it. Sitesearch is on the google top navbar by default anyhow.

    Very glad you moved the google ads down from where they were yesterday.

    The Bet365 ads were better. Google ads usually point to some halfwit gambling scam anyhow.

    Maybe the graphic designer can tinker with a logo to go along the top. Does not have to be massive. Just good.

    In regard to the old bet365 ads: they were not working as an advertising medium (since we are too small a blog)

    It's not about the money, but we chose google as a simple way to perhaps obtain some revenue that could be used to buy a domain (our url is very long and the prospect of a full site is the way forward. If there are an ads that you, as viewers, don't agree with we will block them: we don't want to be linking to spam sites.

    We may in the future change our ad provider, but it's not on the cards yet.

    We should be tweaking the css shortly: thanks for the bug report.
