Well done to Danny...
Nothing to do with the horses and probably of no interest to most readers, but Danny collected five awards at the Methley cricket presentation night. I missed it due to work, but he must have been up and down like a yoyo collecting top under 13 batsman, top fielder for under 13's, 15's and 17's and a special award for the out-standing player of the year. Well done again we are so proud. Anyway enough of that, on to the horses and I have to select Papini in the 1.10 race at Cheltenham. He is held in very high regard by the stable and although he beat trees on his chase debut, he did it well enough and can improve. My second choice is Altilhar in the 2.55 race. Gary Moore has a superb record over the last two seasons in the top handicap hurdleraces and Altilhar loves it round here and is on a decent mark. Danny has chosen Paradi in the 1.45 at Cheltenham. This one is lightly raced and improved throughout last season. At Fontwell he likes the look of Zimbabwe. This one improved during last winter and will have needed his recent run.
