No joy at Doncaster last night and tricky racing today. However there are a couple at Ripon we like. The first is Cool Sonata in the 2.40. Mel Brittain has had a form revival this season and this daugter of One Cool Cat was very green on her debut but still ran well. She will improve tons and will appreciate the longer trip. The second selection is Goodbye Mr Bond in the 4.10. He shaped with promise on his return from a poor draw and is well treated on his best form.
