Cricket, weather and tipping rubbish on Sunday..
Gargrave must have been the only place in England where it rained persistently. They managed to finish the game in about six hours but Danny went for 10 and Leeds lost. Anyway back to the horses. Danny has gone to Windsor this evening for two selections. His first is Cleide Da Silva in the 7.00. This one made a promising return over ten furlongs, just tiring close home and the drop in trip should suit. Borderlesscott looks the class act in the Listed event at 8.00. This stable star has to go this route as his handicap mark is now a bit high, but the opposition doesn't look too strong. Meanwhile I like the look of Mad Rush in the 3.00 at Leicester. He won with plenty of authority last time, gets in here on a fair mark and looks set to improve.
A late entry; We have had a good word for the once raced Flying Goose in the 7.15 at Thirsk. This once raced Cumani colt had plenty of subsequent winners behind on his debut and is reportedly going well at home.
