Things go from bad to worse!

We are not down-hearted though following another poor day. We are still in the black which is the main thing. A couple that catch my eye on Wednesday are; Optical Illusion in the 4.00 at Epsom. He wasn't given a hard time on his debut by Frankie when a promising eighth in a decent event. He was an expensive purchase and doesn't have a lot to beat here as the rated horses are in the 70's.
It was good to see Roger Charlton back amongst the winners on Tuesday and he makes a rare visit to Catterick with Last Sovereign in the 3.50. He gets in here on a very low mark considering the last run was pretty decent. He is open to further improvement as well.
